Samantha Pyle is a freshman at Sacred Heart Preparatory, Atherton. She is interested in medicine and anything to do with math or science. In her free time she plays water polo, swims competitively, and spends time with friends.

The US healthcare system is broken. It serves to benefit large corporations and not the users, but there is still hope. We need to unify as a country to change the fee-for-service model, consolidate services, and increase transparency of costs to make healthcare available to everyone.
